New Town Plaza has fully optimised the 7/F outdoor Sky Garden and renamed it as [NTP Sky Garden]. The over 40,000 sq.ft. secret garden in the sky will be unveiled in mid-November along with the mall's Christmas installation, becoming the talk of the town. To celebrate the opening of the new [NTP Sky Garden], New Town Plaza has joined hands with the renowned Japanese light projection art group NAKED Inc. to create a limited-time light and shadow performance on the city's largest outdoor water curtain. The opening act, 'Starry Night Wishes – Light and Shadow Performance', will combine the outdoor Christmas atmosphere with on-site projection, presenting a series of Christmas fantasy sensory feasts that blend water curtains, light and shadow, art, and music, allowing the audience to immerse themselves in the projection of a flowery sea and the twinkling Christmas starlight of a happy country, capturing every shining moment.

NAKED Inc. is internationally renowned as the 'Magician of Light Architecture', with representative works including NAKED FLOWERS. This time, in collaboration with New Town Plaza, the Christmas traditional elements and the festival scenes of famous Japanese landmarks are combined for the first time in an outdoor water curtain performance, presenting the stunning 'Starry Night Wishes – Light and Shadow Performance'. The water curtain performance is themed 'Light Up Your Wishes', inviting the audience to make Christmas wishes in a dreamlike scene interwoven with light and shadow. In addition, the Music Water Stage of [NTP Sky Garden] will also witness the grand return of the classic music fountain of New Town Plaza. When night falls, the dynamic music fountain dances to the rhythm, weaving a tale of love and memories, awakening the beautiful memories of Sha Tin residents. The dazzling water curtain, artistic light and shadow, and music blend together, making every wish come true in the starry night.

After immersing yourself in the outdoor light and shadow magic, the fantasy experience will continue at the 'Christmas Fantasy Carnival, Christmas Circus TOWNival' in the Atrium on 3/F of New Town Plaza Phase 1. The venue features four dreamy photo spots, including the city's first-ever indoor 6-metre-tall 'Christmas Tree Slide', where children and adults alike can rediscover their playful side, overlooking the entire Christmas playful scenery from the sparkling treetop and sliding into a world of festive joy in an instant. The giant-sized crystal ball also allows children and adults to step inside for photos, and there is even a snow experience on weekends, letting everyone feel the white Christmas under the snowy sky!
